Disclosure

Last updated: May 2026

Hi, I’m the eater behind CrazyFoodGia. This site is independently run, and I believe in being upfront about how it makes money, where my reviews come from, and what relationships exist behind the scenes. This page explains all of that.

Advertising

CrazyFoodGia displays advertisements served by Google AdSense and possibly other ad networks. These ads are how the site stays free for readers. I do not control which specific ads are shown — Google determines this based on your browsing history, location, and other signals.

Ads are visually distinct from editorial content. If an ad ever looks misleading or inappropriate, please contact me and I’ll report it.

Google may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads. You can manage your ad preferences at Google Ads Settings or learn more in my Privacy Policy.

Affiliate links

Some posts on CrazyFoodGia contain affiliate links. This means if you click a link and make a purchase, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. I only link to products, tools, ingredients, or services that I genuinely use, recommend, or would buy myself.

Affiliate partnerships currently include:

  • Amazon Associates (for cookware, ingredients, and book recommendations)

Whether or not a link is affiliate, my opinion is never influenced by potential earnings. I only recommend things I’d actually want to eat, cook with, or use.

Sponsored content

Occasionally, restaurants, brands, or PR agencies may invite me for a meal, send products, or pay for content. When this happens, the post will clearly state one or more of the following at the top:

  • “Hosted” — I was invited for a complimentary meal or experience
  • “Sponsored” — I was paid for the post
  • “Gifted” — I received free products or samples
  • “Press visit” — I attended a media preview or launch

Even on sponsored or hosted posts, I write my honest opinion. If something wasn’t good, I’ll say so or decline to publish. I don’t accept payment for guaranteed positive reviews.

Self-funded reviews

The majority of reviews on CrazyFoodGia are self-funded — meaning I paid for my own meal, no one knew I was reviewing, and the restaurant had no influence on what I wrote. Most posts fall in this category unless otherwise noted.

Recipe content

Recipes shared on CrazyFoodGia are my own or adapted from sources I’ve credited. I test every recipe I publish in my own kitchen. If you find a credit missing or a source I should acknowledge, please contact me and I’ll fix it.

Photography

Unless otherwise noted, all photographs on CrazyFoodGia are taken by me. Some images may be sourced from royalty-free libraries (Unsplash, Pexels) or used with permission from restaurants or brands. If you’re a creator and believe an image is yours without proper attribution, please reach out.
