Breakfast at Sheraton JB Hotel is one of those buffet experiences that genuinely feels like a celebration of food. It is not just about filling your stomach here. It is about slowing down and enjoying a wide variety of flavours that cater to both comfort seekers and adventurous eaters.
What made my stay at Sheraton JB Hotel even better was the relaxed weekend breakfast timing, with breakfast served until 11AM. This little detail makes a huge difference. Instead of rushing out of bed to make it in time for breakfast, I could enjoy a slower and more relaxed morning before heading down to the buffet. There was plenty of time to ease into the day, enjoying every bite, and even go back for seconds without feeling pressured. It sets the perfect tone for a leisurely staycation or weekend getaway in Johor Bahru, where the morning feels just as enjoyable as the rest of the trip.
My Favourite Items at Sheraton JB Hotel Breakfast
One of my favourite items at the Sheraton JB Hotel breakfast buffet was the Roti Canai. It was freshly made and served warm.

I enjoyed dipping the Roti Canai into the curry, especially the chicken salna, which made it even more delicious. The crispy yet fluffy texture of the Roti Canai paired perfectly with the rich and flavourful curry.

Another item from Sheraton JB Hotel that really stood out to me was the dried shrimp chilli. It may look simple, but it was incredibly flavourful and honestly quite addictive.

I first tried it with the porridge and immediately went back for more. The savoury and slightly spicy chilli paired so well with the smooth and comforting porridge, making every spoonful more enjoyable. It was one of those unexpected combinations that ended up being one of my favourite parts of the breakfast. In fact, while I was there, I even overheard another guest asking whether they sold the dried shrimp chilli because he loved it so much and wanted to bring some home.

Beyond these signature items, the breakfast spread also includes a wide selection of egg stations, noodles, pastries, fruits, and hot dishes that rotate to keep things interesting. The egg station in particular allows you to customise your breakfast just the way you like it, whether scrambled, sunny side up, or as an omelette loaded with ingredients of your choice. It adds a personalised touch to the buffet experience.
Besides the food at Sheraton JB Hotel, what made my breakfast experience even better was the friendly staff. As I walked around looking at the different stations and deciding what to eat, many of the staff greeted me with a warm smile. They were welcoming and attentive throughout the meal, which made me feel comfortable and well taken care of.
Another station I enjoyed was the live noodle station. I could choose my preferred ingredients and have a bowl of noodles cooked fresh on the spot. It was a nice option for those who prefer something warm and comforting for breakfast.

There was also a good variety of bread, cakes, and fresh fruits to choose from at Sheraton JB Hotel breakfast. Whether I wanted something light or sweet to end my breakfast, there were plenty of options.
Another thing I liked about Sheraton JB hotel was its convenient location. It is directly connected to a new shopping mall, which makes it very easy to get around. Whether I wanted to grab a meal, buy some essentials, or do a little shopping, everything was just a short walk away.
Overall, breakfast here is more than just a hotel buffet. It is a slow, enjoyable morning ritual where good food and relaxed timing come together. The extended-weekend breakfast hours, the comforting Roti Canai, and that irresistibly addictive dried-shrimp chilli all contribute to an experience that feels both indulgent and satisfying.
