The moment we stepped inside 92 Armenian, it honestly felt like travelling back in time. The interior was filled with vintage hardwood furniture and antique decoration, giving the entire space a warm, nostalgic atmosphere. One thing we immediately noticed was how welcoming 92 Armenian felt. The staff served us complimentary tea shortly after we sat down, which made the whole experience feel even more relaxing. You could immediately tell they did not hold back on the ingredients.
Next came the bird’s nest coconut jelly, which turned out to be the ultimate heat-killer on a warm Penang afternoon. The jelly was light, cooling, and refreshing, with delicate strands of bird’s nest mixed throughout. The coconut flavour was subtle and natural, making it extremely easy to finish within minutes.
The ice jelly with bird’s nest was equally enjoyable. Served chilled, it was refreshing and soothing, especially after spending hours walking under the Penang sun. What impressed us most was how generous they were with the bird’s nest. Some places may only add a tiny amount for presentation, but here, every spoonful was genuinely packed with bird’s nest strands. You could taste and feel the texture in every bite.
