A stay at PARKROYAL A’Famosa Melaka Resort becomes even more relaxing when you have access to its Executive Lounge. During our stay, we spent some time at the lounge, which operates daily from 6:00AM to 9:30PM.
A Cosy Place to Relax and Chill
The Executive Lounge offers a comfortable setting with cosy seats where you can sit back, relax and simply chill. After a day of exploring Malacca, it was nice to have a quiet space where we could take a break and enjoy some food and drinks.
One thing I particularly liked is that kids are allowed in the club lounge during the evening cocktails. This makes the lounge a convenient option for families travelling with children, as you can enjoy the evening together.

What surprised me was the variety of food available during the evening cocktail session. This was not just a spread of small snacks. The Club Lounge at PARKROYAL A’Famosa Melaka Resort provides enough food to make it a proper dinner.
If you are someone who prefers having an early dinner, you will definitely appreciate this. It is also a great option for those who are feeling a little lazy to travel out of the hotel for a meal. You can simply head to the Club Lounge, enjoy the food and drinks, and then return to your room for a relaxing evening.
On the day we visited, they served Nasi Goreng Kampung, which was their seafood fried rice. I found the fried rice flavourful and tasty. In fact, I noticed that once the fried rice was served, it disappeared very quickly! The staff had to refill it a few times because it was being taken so fast.
There was also Chicken Cordon Bleu, which added another substantial option to the spread.
Another highlight by Club Lounge at PARKROYAL A’Famosa Melaka Resort was the beef satay.
They served with peanut sauce and traditional satay condiments such as rice cakes, onions and cucumber. With these dishes available, you could easily have a satisfying dinner without leaving the hotel.
Snacks, Fruits, Cakes and Cheese
Besides the hot food, there was also a good selection of snacks and lighter bites. They served a variety of fresh fruits as well as different types of cakes for those who enjoy something sweet after their meal.
There were also different types of crackers, which paired nicely with the drinks. If you prefer something more filling, buns were available together with different sauces. For cheese lovers, there was also a selection of different cheeses available.
My personal favourite was the bun with marinated green and black olives. They made a nice savoury snack.
Another item I liked with the bun was the garlic herb mayo sauce. I enjoyed the creamy and flavourful sauce with the soft bun, and it was something I could easily keep going back for.
Drinks for Alcohol and Non-Alcohol Drinkers
For those who prefer non-alcoholic beverages, the Club Lounge at PARKROYAL A’Famosa Melaka Resort also offers a variety of refreshing drinks. Tea lovers can choose from a selection of teas, while juices and an assortment of soft drinks are also available. We arrived a little later in the evening, so some of the soft drinks were already running low. However, there was no need to worry as the PARKROYAL A’Famosa Melaka Resort staff promptly replenished the drinks, ensuring guests could still enjoy their preferred beverages.
For alcohol lovers, the evening spread includes Royal Stout, Connor’s Stout, red and white wine, as well as assorted liquor. If you enjoy experimenting with drinks, you can even make your own cocktail and mix it according to your preference

However, just like the food, I noticed that the drinks could run out pretty quickly. The stocks were cleared fast, especially during the busier period. So, if you see your preferred drink available, it may be better to get it early rather than wait!
Final Thoughts
Overall, I found the Club Lounge at PARKROYAL A’Famosa Melaka Resort to be more than just a place for evening drinks and light snacks. With the variety of hot food, satay, fried rice, chicken, fruits, cakes, buns, crackers, cheese and olives, you can actually make a proper dinner out of the spread.
For travellers who prefer an early dinner, families with kids or anyone who simply wants to stay in the PARKROYAL A’Famosa Melaka Resort after a long day, this is a convenient option. It can even help you save on a meal during your Malacca trip, while avoiding the hassle of travelling out to find a restaurant.
