Ultimate Springleaf Prata Place Guide: Crispy, Flavourful & Satisfying!

There are some food spots I keep going back to, and Springleaf Prata Place is definitely one of them.

My Favourite Prata at Springleaf Prata Place

At Springleaf Prata Place, nothing beats starting with their Kosong prata (plain prata). It’s the ultimate classic crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and honestly just so satisfying with every bite. I love how versatile it is too. Sometimes I go savoury and dip it into their rich, flavourful fish curry, and other times I keep it simple with a sprinkle of sugar for that sweet crunch. Either way, it never misses.

My Indulgent at Springleaf Prata Place

But if I’m feeling a little more indulgent, I’ll always order their Murtabak. It’s seriously packed to the brim with fillings like chicken, beef, or sardine. But my go-to is always the sardine version at Springleaf Prata Place. There’s just something about that savoury, slightly tangy filling wrapped in crispy prata that hits differently.

And of course, not forgetting their Tissue Prata which is light, crispy, and slightly sweet, it’s the perfect treat to enjoy on its own or share.

Springleaf Prata Place Thosai is just as satisfying too. Thin, golden, and beautifully crisp at the edges, yet soft in the centre, making it perfect for dipping into chutneys or curry.

One thing I really enjoy about coming here is how they keep things exciting. They don’t just stick to the usual menu. Springleaf Prata Place roll out special prata during festive occasions, which makes every visit feel a little different. I’ve tried their Otah prata during Singapore National Day and even the Nian Gao prata during Chinese New Year. It’s such a fun twist on a traditional favourite, and it definitely keeps me coming back for more.

Whether I’m craving a simple prata fix or something more adventurous like their creative murtabak series, this place always delivers. It’s where my late-night supper cravings get satisfied and where I’ll happily head to for a chill weekend brunch.
