The Star Of The Show: The Teppan Experience
Don’t miss their signature Teppan experience in Bari Bari Steak. Watching the meat sear on the hot iron griddle, hearing the satisfying sizzle, and smelling the rich aroma filling the air is enough to make my mouth water instantly 🤤I get to enjoy a free-flow salad bar with any Teppan menu order.
The Order That Made My Night In Bari Bari Steak
Let me walk you through exactly what landed on my table during my visit to Bari Bari Steak.
The premium cut A4/A5 Miyazaki Wagyu Teppan. This premium Japanese wagyu, sourced from Miyazaki prefecture, is renowned for its exceptional marbling and you taste every bit of that reputation on the teppan. The steak arrived sizzling and deeply juicy, the kind of cut that needs very little else to shine.

But what really elevated it were the three signature sauces on the side. The Bari Bari sauce, Miyazaki Yakiniku sauce, and a bright Yuzu Onion sauce. Each one brings something different to the table. Bari Bari sauce is bold and savoury, Miyazaki Yakiniku is rich & umami and Yuzu Onion is bright and citrusy.

Honestly, I could not choose between the Bari Bari and the Yakiniku — both are outstanding in their own way. My solution? I dipped alternately between the two throughout the entire meal, and I regret nothing. If you’re the indecisive type like me, this is a perfectly valid strategy. 😂
The Chicken Leg Teppan was another pleasant surprise at just $19.90. The portion was huge, beautifully marinated, and came with crispy skin that gave a satisfying crunch on the first bite. For the price, it is seriously worth it and proof that sometimes chicken can steal the spotlight even at a teppan steakhouse.

A Soup That Caught Me Off-guard
When the staff came by to serve soup, and I was expecting a standard miso. It’s the default assumption at a Japanese-style steakhouse. What I got was something far more interesting, the soup had a deep, aromatic quality driven by a strong sesame oil flavour, warming and rich on the first sip, yet surprisingly refreshing as you went through it.

The Salad Bar In Bari Bari Steak Is Really Good
I’ll admit I initially treated the salad bar as a way to fill time while waiting for the main course. I was wrong to underestimate it. The selection is curated just right; not so overwhelming that you spend ten minutes deciding but varied enough that you’ll find yourself genuinely excited about what to load onto your plate.
I went back for seconds. On almost everything. The freshness was consistent, the options complemented the steak well, and nothing felt like filler for the sake of it. Free-flow access makes it easy to graze at your own pace, which suits the relaxed, sit-back-and-enjoy rhythm of the meal.
The soba, spaghetti, and crispy onion rings were surprisingly addictive and honestly tasted really good. Pair them with the fresh salads with your favourite dressing for that refreshing crunchy balance in between all the rich teppan dishes.
