I didn’t expect much, “Container park in Changi” sounds like it could go either way. But when the moment I walked in, the fairy lights strung everywhere, a live band already warming up, smoke rising from like five different grills.
Cosford Container Park is one of those places that somehow has everything. More than 10 vendors, alfresco seating, live music Wednesday to Sunday, and a vibe that’s relaxed but actually buzzing.
What to Order in Cosford Container Park
Let me walk you through the four stops that made my night.
First up, Let’s BBQ Bar is a must-visit for Taiwanese-style BBQ skewers. There’s a huge variety to choose from but go early because some items are limited and sell out fast. The queue can get long, but trust me, it’s worth the wait.
Next, seafood lovers shouldn’t miss Boon Tat Street Seafood, where you can dig into favourites like BBQ stingray and fresh bamboo clams packed with flavour.
If you’re planning to pace yourself and try more dishes, Frogman Porridge is a great stop. Their frog leg porridge is light, comforting, and perfect as a mid-meal dish.
Finally, don’t let the name fool you. Creamy Duck isn’t about duck at all. It’s actually a dessert and drinks spot, and honestly, after all that food, you’ll definitely want something refreshing to wash everything down.

Highlights at Cosford Container Park
Every Saturday and Sunday, actual mermaid and merman performers take to a tank and put on a proper show. Like tails, choreography, the works. The crowd goes wild and it feels truly magical especially when I’m holding a skewer in one hand and a drink in the other.
Just when I think the vibes couldn’t get any wilder, a plane roars off from the runway right next door and rattles the fairy lights. That’s amazing experience that I can find at Cosford Container Park. Mermaids below, jets above, good food all around.
Cosford Container Park isn’t trying to be a hawker centre, it isn’t trying to be a rooftop bar. It’s just its own chaotic, charming, charcoal-scented thing and Singapore is better for it. Weekends only for the full experience, but honestly, even a Wednesday night with the live band slaps.
It’s been receiving great reviews on Tripadvisor and is quickly gaining a reputation as a must-visit spot.
If you’re on the hunt for another place to unwind, Jumboree is also worth checking out too. It is one of the perfect places for chilling with friends, enjoying good food, and catching live band performances over the weekends.
How to Get There
The nearest MRT station is Upper Changi MRT Station (DT34) on the Downtown Line. From there, hop on bus no. 2 at Upper Changi Station/Opposite SUTD stop (96041). Alight 7 stops later at Changi Baptist Church bus stop (97061) and take a 5-minute walk to Cosford Container Park.
